Akhir-akhir ini, para investor masih mengincar saham-saham emiten di sektor energi baru terbarukan (EBT). Hal tersebut terjadi karena EBT dinilai memiliki prospek cukup baik dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Pengembangan EBT di Indonesia juga menjadi solusi untuk meminimalisir pemakaian sumber energi dari fosil atau batu bara.

Selama ini, Indonesia adalah negara importir bersih bahan bakar fosil terbesar di dunia. Artinya, pasar EBT di dalam negeri masih sangat menjanjikan, seiring tingginya kesadaran masyarakat akan energi yang ramah lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, banyak investor yang masih terus gencar mengincar sektor EBT ini.

Alasan para investor masih mengincar saham-saham di sektor EBT tahun ini juga karena melihat adanya komitmen global yang semakin kuat untuk sektor ini. Selain investor, pemerintah juga sedang gencar menggerakan energi hijau demi mencapai target Net Zero Emission (NZE) pada 2060. Hal tersebut juga menjadi salah satu faktor mengapa para investor menjadi tertarik pada sektor ini.

Menurut founder Bumi Global Karbon (BGK) Foundation, Achmad Deni Daruri, ada sekitar 270 juta penduduk yang bergantung pada bahan bakar fosil dari negara lain (impor). Hal tersebut yang membuat Indonesia rentan terhadap guncangan dan krisis geopolitik. Sebaliknya, Indonesia juga memiliki sumber energi terbarukan yang melimpah, tetapi potensinya masih belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan (Jakarta, 10/1/2024).

Selain itu, Badan Energi Terbarukan Internasional (IRENA) telah memproyeksikan bahwa 90% pasokan listrik dunia berasal dari EBT. Artinya, pengembangan EBT di Indonesia dapat menjadi solusi terbaik untuk keluar dari ketergantungan impor. Achmad Deni Daruri menilai, saat ini EBT merupakan pilihan daya termurah di sebagian besar dunia. Biaya listrik dari tenaga surya, turun 85% dalam 1 dekade (2010- 2020). Biaya energi angin darat dan lepas pantai, masing-masing turun 56% dan 48%.

Dengan adanya EBT yang merupakan pilihan daya termurah dan terbaik, pemerintah Indonesia harus menjamin strategi untuk menunjang peluang investasi. Menurut Achmad Deni Daruri, pemerintah harus menjalankan 5 strategi. Pertama, pengaturan pasar dengan menetapkan transparansi dan prediktabilitas yang memberikan kepercayaan bagi investor. Kedua, memberikan insentif bagi energi bersih dan iklim tertentu, yang menyusun strategi energi multi-tahun terintegrasi dengan target jangka pendek. Ketiga, menjamin langkah-langkah ramah bisnis yang berupa beberapa kebijakan umum, yang dapat memfasilitasi investasi EBT. Keempat, mekanisme pembiayaan yang inovatif. Kelima, asumsi risiko awal dimana beberapa proyek yang sukses termasuk sponsor awal yang bersedia menanggung berbagai risiko.

Besarnya potensi EBT yang dimiliki Indonesia, hal tersebut menjadi keunggulan negara serta daya tarik bagi investor baik dalam maupun luar negeri. Menurut data Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), potensi EBT Indonesia mencapai 442,4 gigawatt. Namun yang baru dimanfaatkan sekitar 11,3 gigawatt atau sekitar 2,5% dari total potensi yang ada.

Indonesia sendiri memiliki beberapa keunggulan komparatif dalam sektor EBT.Pertama, kebijakan pemerintah yang sangat mendukung pengembangan EBT, seperti target bauran energi nasional 23% EBT pada 2025, insentif fiskal dan non-fiskal bagi investor EBT, serta penyederhanaan perizinan dan regulasi. Kedua, ketersediaan sumber daya EBT yang melimpah dan tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia.

Sumber daya EBT yang tersedia melimpah di Indonesia tersebut antara lain sinar matahari yang mencapai 4,8 kWh/m2/hari, angin dengan kecepatan rata-rata 3-6 m/s, air dengan potensi PLTA sebesar 75 gigawatt, biomassa dengan potensi produksi bioenergi sebesar 32.654 PJ/tahun, dan panas bumi dengan cadangan terbesar di dunia sebesar 28.910 megawatt. Terakhir, permintaan energi yang terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan populasi di Indonesia, serta kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya penggunaan energi bersih yang ramah lingkungan.

Direktur Utama Mandiri Sekuritas, Oki Ramadhana, mengatakan bahwa saham-saham di sektor EBT menunjukkan pergerakan yang mengesankan. Head Customer Literation and Education Kiwoom Sekuritas, Oktavianus Audi, juga mengatakan bahwa investor masih mengincar saham-saham sektor EBT di 2024 ini karena melihat komitmen global. Selain itu, hasil Konferensi Perubahan Iklim ke-28 (COP28) di Dubai pada November 2023, menyerukan secara global untuk meningkatkan kapasitas energi terbarukan hingga 3 kali lipat.

Selain itu, Oktavianus Audi merekomendasikan beberapa saham-saham emiten EBT, yaitu saham PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) dengan target harga Rp 1.205 per saham. Selanjutnya, terdapat hold saham PT Barito Renewables Energy (BREN). Pada awal tahun ini, juga terdapat satu perusahaan berbasis energi yang akan tampil di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) melalui Initial Public Offering (IPO) saham yaitu PT Citra Nusantara Gemilang Tbk.

Tak hanya di sektor energi terbarukan, tujuh perusahaan dengan saham-saham emiten lainnya juga akan tampil di BEI pada Januari tahun ini. Oki Ramadhana menuturkan, selain sektor EBT, perusahaan-perusahaan di sektor lainnya tetap berpotensi menghimpun pendanaan dari pasar modal. Yang terpenting investor tetap mengincar saham IPO dari perusahaan yang kuat secara fundamental dan memiliki potensi pertumbuhan yang bagus ke depannya.
