Jakarta, 22 Juni 2023 – Xurya, startup energi terbarukan yang mempelopori metode Rp0,- dalam pembiayaan PLTS Atap, dipercaya oleh PT Serena Indopangan Industri (Serena). Serena bersama dengan Xurya mengadakan acara peresmian Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS Atap) di pabrik Serena yang berlokasi di Cibinong, Kab. Bogor, Jawa Barat, pada hari Rabu kemarin (21/06).
Hingga November 2022, Kementerian ESDM mencatat input kapasitas pembangkit listrik energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT) yang terpasang bertambah sebesar 995 megawatt (MW). Capaian tersebut diproyeksikan akan terus meningkat, mengingat pemerintah juga berkomitmen untuk menambah kapasitas terpasang hingga 368 MW pada 2023, yang mana untuk PLTS sendiri sebanyak 161 MW. Acara peresmian PLTS Atap ini merupakan salah satu komitmen perusahaan dalam mengurangi jejak karbon dan berkontribusi nyata terhadap kelestarian lingkungan.

PLTS Atap Xurya yang terpasang di Serena dapat menghasilkan energi sebanyak 1,1 juta kWh setiap tahunnya atau setara dengan penekanan gas emisi karbon sebesar sembilan ratus delapan puluh ribu kilogram per tahun. Sebagai salah satu perusahaan terbesar yang bergerak di industri PLTS Atap untuk sektor industri dan komersial, Xurya memastikan PLTS Atap yang terpasang di pabrik Serena memiliki kualitas yang baik. Selain itu, Xurya juga memastikan Serena mendapatkan fasilitas operations & maintenance (O&M) secara rutin untuk memastikan performa dan kualitas PLTS Atap terjaga.

Langkah Serena untuk mulai menggunakan PLTS Atap merupakan hal yang patut untuk diapresiasi. Proyek PLTS Atap Xurya diperkirakan mampu memproduksi lebih dari 130 juta kWh energi bersih dan membuat lebih dari 3.100 ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan hijau.
