MEMBAKAR SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA SEMBARANGAN APA BAHAYANYA?

Sampah merupakan sisa-sisa material atau produk yang tidak diinginkan lagi. Banyak masyarakat yang masih sedikit perduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Dalam kasus sampah, banyak dari masyarakat yang membakar sampah secara sembarangan dilingkungannya. 

Masyarakat berpikir bahwa sampah akan menumpuk setiap harinya dan mengeluarkan bau, dengan cara yang mudah sampah-sampah yang tidak diinginkan dibakar begitu saja.  Dari cara membakar sampah, itu hal yang tidak patut ditiru karena dapat membahayakan orang lain, merusak alam dan lingkungan sekitar. Bukan hanya dari sifat manusiawi orang melarang membakar sampah, tetapi dari pemerintah memiliki undang-undang yang tidak diperbolehkan membakar sampah secara sembarangan. Udara dapat tercemar dengan dibakarnya sampah mengeluarkan asap hitam yang benar-benar dapat berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan. 

Tata cara pengelolaan sampah juga diatur dalam undang-undang yang berarti memiliki dampak yang serius apabila seseorang terdspat melakukan pelanggaran dari undang undang tersebut. Berikut bunyi dari undang-undang tersebut: 

Dalam UU No.18/2008 tentang Pengelolaan Sampah Pasal 29 ayat 1 butir (g) dinyatakan bahwa, setiap orang dilarang membakar sampah yang tidak sesuai dengan persyaratan teknis pengelolaan sampah.

Yang dapat diartikan bahwa tidak dianjurkan untuk membakar sampah sembarangan. Sampah yang dibakar sembarangan dapat mengeluarkan gas beracun seperti Karbon monoksida atau Carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrogen oksida atau Nitrogen oxide (Nox) dan zat-zat kimia yang membahayakan. Gas beracun dapat menyebabkan efek rumah kaca ini akan menipisnya lapisan ozon pada atmosfir bumi. Apabila udara yang kamu hirup tercemar gas beracun seperti Karbon monoksida atau Carbon monoxide (CO) dapat membahayakan saluran pernafasan saat oksigen sudah tercemar masuk kedalam tubuh, hemoglobin fungsinya untuk mengedarkan oksigen bisa tidak berfungsi dan jika hal itu terjadi, jaringan pada tubuh menyebabkan kekurangan oksigen yang dapat menyebabkan kematian.

Asap hitam setelah pembakaran sampah lebih berbahaya dibandingkan asap rokok, hasil pembakaran terdapat hidrokarbon benzopirena yang berkali lipat membahayakan manusia. Seperti dapat meningkatkan risiko pada asma, infeksi paru-paru dan lebih parahnya lagi penyakit akut yaitu bronkitis atau bronchitis.

Udara yang tercemar mengandung zat-zat kimia berbahaya ini dapat menggangu pandangan manusia dan membahayakan kesehatan pada pernafasan manusia. Benar-benar sampah yang dibakar apalagi sampah plastik, dapat berefek buruk pada makhluk hidup dan bumi ini.

Ketahuilah sampah yang sembarangan dibakar benar-benar akan membahayakan lingkungan sekitar.  Selamatkan bumi ini dengan cara tidak membakar sampah secara sembarangan.
