Lima APM Otomotif Dorong Percepatan Kendaraan Listrik di Indonesia Untuk Menekan Emisi Karbon

Dunia, termasuk Indonesia sedang gencar-gencarnya berupaya mengurangi emisi karbon. Indonesia telah menetapkan target pengurangan emisi sebesar 29% atau 41% dengan bantuan internasional pada 2030. Kendaraan listrik menjadi salah satu strategi andalan pemerintah untuk mencapai target tersebut.

Tak hanya ramah lingkungan, kendaraan listrik juga lebih irit biaya. Satu liter bensin bisa menempuh jarak 10 km setara dengan 1 kWh listrik. Satu liter listrik juga dibanderol dengan harga Rp 9.000, sedangkan 1 kWh listrik hanya Rp 1.500. Mobil listrik memang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan. 

Lima Agen Pemegang Merek (APM) otomotif yang tergabung dalam EV Smart Mobility – Join Project, mendorong pengembangan infrastruktur kendaraan elektrifikasi yang menyeluruh dan efektif untuk mengakselerasi kendaraan elektrifikasi di Indonesia.

Kelima APM tersebut yaitu Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, FUSO,Isuzu dan Toyota. Susumu Matsuda sebagai secretariat project yang mewakili 5 APM otomotif menyampaikan, dibutuhkan kerjasama yang kuat dari beberapa pihak, termasuk distributor otomotif, penyedia infrastruktur pengisian listrik, serta pemerintah sebagai pembuat regulasi, dalam upaya mengurangi emisi karbon.

Ketika ingin mewujudkan hal ini tidak hanya melalui strategi mengembangkan dan mempopulerkan kendaraan ramah lingkungan kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga dibutuhkan dukungan pengembangan infrastruktur pengisian listrik yang terintegrasi.

“Kami mengapresiasi PLN yang telah mengambil langkah strategis untuk menciptakan infrastruktur pengisian listrik sebagai bagian dari upaya menghadirkan ekosistem elektrifikasi yang komplit kepada seluruh masyarakat Indonesia,” kata Matsuda dalam keterangannya, Sabtu (23/7/2022).

5 brand otomotif yang tergabung dalam EV Smart Mobility – Joint Project sepakat memilih Bali sebagai lokasi project pertama berdasarkan keinginan untuk berkontribusi menyukseskan penyelenggaraan event international G-20.

Beliau menilai, kegiatan ini akan menjadi peluang besar bagi pemerintah Indonesia dan industry otomotif nasional untuk menunjukan komitmen dan keseriusannya dalam menerapkan kebijakan transisi energi hijau dan menyambut era mobilitas ramah lingkungan.

Di EV Smart Mobility Joint Project ini masing-masing APM akan menyediakan kendaraan listrik andalannya untuk membentuk line-up di sektor kendaraan penumpang dan komersial.

Line-up kendaraan elektrifikasi penumpang akan digunakan untuk mendukung mobilitas di kawasan Nusa Dua dan Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai Bali. Sementara line-up komersial akan digunakan untuk mendukung logistik dan selanjutnya akan menjadi pertimbangan untuk berkolaborasi dengan bisnis lokal di wilayah Bali.

“Sudah saatnya popularisasi teknologi elektrifikasi di Indonesia dijalankan pada level yang lebih massif. Kerjasama antar pemain industri otomotif dan para stakeholder menjadi sangat dibutuhkan dalam upaya mempercepat mencapai netralisasi karbon,” ujarnya.

“EV Smart Mobility – Joint Project ini diharapkan mampu jadi pemantik partisipasi berbagai pihak untuk bergerak bersama mengembangkan ekosistem kendaraan ramah lingkungan yang terintegrasi di Indonesia,” sambungnya.
