BRIN Ajak Stakeholder Perkuat Ekosistem Kendaraan Listrik Otonom

Pada Rabu (20/7/2022) Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional atau BRIN ajak Stakeholder perkuat ekosistem kendaraan listrik otonom.

Khususnya pemangku kepentingan, termasuk industri, untuk berinvestasi guna memperkuat ekosistem kendaraan listrik otonom di Indonesia.

Kepala BRIN, Laksana Tri Handoko mengutarakan melalui tema IEMS 2022 Strengthening Autonomous Ecosystem, ingin mendorong berbagai pihak untuk menjadi bagian dari ekosistem yang akan mendorong inovasi dan pertumbuhan di bidang autonomous vehicle (kendaraan otonom).

Kepala BRIN saat Soft Launching Indonesia Electric Motor Show (IEMS) 2022 di Gedung BJ Habibi BRIN, Jakarta juga mengharapkan langkah ini akan menjadi membantu menciptakan proposisi nilai baru yang terbentuk melalui kolaborasi.

Konsep sistem transportasi masa depan dengan Autonomous Vehicle (AV) bakal makin berkembang dan dapat digunakan di bandara, kampus, dan sektor publik lainnya.

Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) juga mengembangkan kendaraan listrik otonom ramah lingkungan mewakili konsep Micro Electric Vehicle Teleoperated Driving System (MEViTDS) yang dikemudikan dari jarak jauh.

“Pengembangan kendaraan listrik dilakukan untuk memenuhi Prioritas Riset Nasional (PRN) Kendaraan Listrik 2020-2024 yang berfokus pada penguasaan teknologi kunci kendaraan otonom, seperti sistem deteksi objek/sensor, sistem telekomunikasi, human to vehicle interaction dan computer vision,” ujar Laksana Tri Handoko.

“Pengembangan kendaraan listrik di era sebelumnya difokuskan pada penguasaan teknologi komponen kunci, seperti motor listrik, baterai, control system/power electronics, platform dan charging system,” tambahnya.

Dalam beberapa tahun ke depan, kendaraan otonom atau tanpa pengemudi akan menjadi standar kendaraan di banyak negara, termasuk Indonesia.

Menurut Handoko, solusi end-to-end, yang berbasis pada teknologi, membutuhkan hubungan internal yang kuat antara sektor hulu dengan berbagai pemangku kepentingan yang relevan.

 “Potensi implementasi kendaraan otonom untuk satu atau dua penumpang itu dapat digunakan di area terbatas atau kawasan khusus, seperti di kebun raya, objek wisata, kawasan perumahan, industri, dan perkantoran. Kendaraan otonom itu, juga dapat digunakan sebagai pengangkut untuk transportasi massal di kawasan khusus tersebut,” ungkap Laksana Tri Handoko.

Diketahui Indonesia Electric Motor Show (IEMS 2022) kembali digelar tahun ini pada 8-10 September 2022 di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

Kegiatan IEMS 2022, sendiri didukung oleh berbagai steakholder yaitu Kemenkomarvest, Kementrian ESDM, Kementerian Perhubungan, Dewan Energi Nasional, Industri BUMN PT Pertamina (Persero), PT PLN (Persero), PT LEN Industri (Persero) serta industri lainnya.

“Melalui IEMS 2022 yang bertema Strengthening Autonomous Ecosystem, BRIN ingin mendorong berbagai pihak untuk menjadi bagian dari ekosistem yang akan mendorong inovasi dan pertumbuhan di bidang AV. Hal ini akan membantu menciptakan proposisi nilai baru yang terbentuk melalui kolaborasi,” tutup Handoko.
