Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia (Indonesian GP) 2023 sukses digelar. Sejumlah kejutan mewarnai race MotoGP, Moto2, dan Moto3.
The Mandalika, 15 Oktober 2023 – Puncak pelaksanaan PertaminaGrand Prix of Indonesia (Indonesian GP) 2023 di Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), pada hari ketiga (15/10) telah digelar. Pertarungan para riders terbaik dunia mampu menyajikan tontonan berkualitas yang memanjakan para pengunjung.
Di kelas paling bergengsi, MotoGP, pembalap dari Ducati Lenovo Team, sekaligus juara MotoGP 2022, Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia berhasil menjadi juara setelah melalui pertarungan sengit dalam 27 laps yang digelar. Rider Italia tersebut tampil menakjubkan pada race MotoGP Mandalika setelah tak mampu menunjukkan performa maksimal sejak sesi latihan bebas hingga Tissot Sprint (sprint race).
Mengawali balapan di grid lima pada posisi 13, Pecco ‘menggila’ dengan tampil nyaris tanpa cela hingga mampu mengamankan podium pertama dengan torehan waktu 41 menit 20,293 detik.
Podium kedua direbut oleh rider Spanyol dari Aprilia Racing, Maverick Vinales, dengan selisih waktu 0,306 detik. Menyusul di posisi ketiga runner up MotoGP 2022, Fabio Quartararo. Rider asal Prancis dari tim Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP tersebut hanya berselisih 0,433 detik dari Pecco.
Adapun pertarungan para riders berjalan panas sejak lap pertama. Pembalap Spanyol dari Prima Pramac Racing yang tampil dominan pada sprint race kemarin, Jorge Martin, langsung menyodok ke posisi pertama dari posisi start enam sejak balapan baru dimulai. Dia pun sempat mengukir selisih waktu hingga 2 detik dengan rider di belakangnya.
Namun, nasib sial menimpa Martin yang terjatuh pada lap ke-13 dan tak mampu melanjutkan balapan. Nasib serupa juga menimpa rekan setim Martin asal Prancis, Johann Zarco yang terjatuh pada lap ke-15.
Dua pembalap Spanyol dari Repsol Honda Team, Marc Marquez dan Joan Mir juga sama-sama gagal finish setelah terjatuh masing-masing pada lap ke-8 dan ke-11. Adapun sehari sebelumnya, Marquez juga gagal finish pada sprint race.
Kembali dua riders Spanyol dari tim yang sama, Pol Espargaro dan Augusto Fernandez, gagal menyelesaikan balapan. Dua pembalap dari GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 itu terjatuh masing-masing pada lap ke-2 dan ke-13.
Sementara itu, rider Italia peraih pole position dari tim Mooney VR46 Racing Team, Luca Marini, itu harus menelan pil pahit setelah gagal melanjutkan balapan pada lap ke-5. Adik juara dunia 9 kali Valentino Rossi itu terjatuh setelah bersinggungan dengan rider Afrika Selatan dari Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Brad Binder. Sempat mencoba melanjutkan balapan, Marini akhirnya harus masuk ke pit lane dan gagal finish.
Pada seremoni kemenangan di podium, Président Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Jorge Viegas memberikan trofi pada pemenang konstruktor dan peraih podium ketiga. Untuk podium kedua, trofi diberikan oleh Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Sandiaga Uno, sementara trofi bagi juara race sekaligus peraih podium pertama diberikan oleh Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir.
Dengan hasil race tersebut, klasemen pembalap pada MotoGP 2023 kembali berubah setelah pada hari sebelumnya terjadi ‘kudeta’ pimpinan klasemen usai ajang sprint race.
Pecco kembali menggeser Martin di posisi pertama dengan dengan 346 poin. Martin masih membayangi dengan 328 poin, disusul rider Italia dari Mooney VR46 Racing Team, Marco Bezzecchi, dengan 283 poin.
Hasil race di Sirkuit Mandalika pun menambah panas tensi menuju tangga juara MotoGP tahun ini. Pasalnya, sejumlah riders masih berpeluang merengkuh gelar juara dalam ajang kejuaraan balapan yang hanya menyisakan lima seri lagi.
Sementara itu, hasil race pada hari ini tidak banyak berpengaruh pada klasemen konstruktor setelah pabrikan asal Italia, Ducati, mengamankan juara tahun ini usai sprint race kemarin.
Di kelas Moto2, pembalap Spanyol dari tim Red Bull KTM Ajo, Pedro Acosta, yang start dari posisi 4, berhasil mengamankan podium pertama setelah mampu melibas 22 laps Sirkuit Mandalika dalam waktu 34 menit, 51,641 detik. Berada di posisi kedua rider Spanyol dari tim Pons Wegow Los40 yang menempati pole position, Aron Canet, dengan selisih waktu 2,044 detik. Sementara itu, pembalap Spanyol dari tim Beta Tools SpeedUp, Fermin Aldeguer, berhasil mengamankan podium ketiga dengan selisih waktu 4,716 detik. Adapun rider tersebut mengawali balapan dari posisi 5.
Dalam seremoni kemenangan di podium, Direktur Utama PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati menyerahkan langsung trofi untuk pemenang konstruktor pada race kali ini. Untuk peraih podium ketiga, trofi diberikan oleh KABARHAKAM POLRI KomJen Pol Fadil Imran dan Bambang Soesatyo, Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI), tak ketinggalan memberikan trofi untuk pemenang podium ketiga. Selanjutnya trofi untuk juara sekaligus peraih podium pertama diberikan oleh Jorge Viegas.
Usai race di sirkuit mandalika, pembalap Spanyol dari tim Red Bull KTM Ajo, Pedro Acosta masih kokoh di puncak klasemen sementara Moto2 dengan 277 poin, diikuti oleh rider Italia dari ELF Marc VDS Racing Team, Tony Arbolino, dan rider Inggris dari tim Inde GASGAS Aspar Team, Jake Dixon, di posisi kedua dan ketiga masing-masing dengan 212 dan 172 poin kemenangan.
Sementara itu, pertarungan tak kalah seru terjadi di kelas Moto3. Pembalap asal Brasil dari tim MT Helmets MSI, Diogo Moreira, berhasil menjuarai race dengan setelah melibas 20 laps Sirkuit Mandalika dengan waktu 33 menit 19,002 detik. Moreira yang start dari pole position tampil kuat dan mampu mempertahankan posisinya awalnya hingga race usai.
Mengamankan podium kedua, rider dari GASGAS Aspar Team, David Alonso, dengan selisih waktu 0,107 detik. Pembalap Kolombia tersebut tampil konsisten setelah mengawali race di grid pertama pada posisi ketiga. Podium ketiga, ditempati oleh rider Spanyol dari tim BOE Motorsports, David Munoz, dengan selisih waktu 0,13 detik. Munoz berhasil menampilkan performa impresif setelah mengawali race dari posisi 10.
Adapun rider tuan rumah dari Honda Asia Team, Arbi Aditama, finish di posisi 17 dengan selisih waktu 12,750 detik. Adapun rekan rekan senegara dan setim Arbi, Mario Suryo Aji, finis di posisi 2. Pembalap yang akan promosi ke kelas Moto2 tahun depan itu menyelesaikan race dengan selisih waktu 28,454 detik.
Dalam seremoni kemenangan di podium, Viegas memberikan trofi untuk peraih podium kedua dan juara konstruktor. Adapun Gubernur NTB Lalu Gita Ariadi menyerahkan trofi untuk peraih podium ketiga. Untuk juara race sekaligus peraih podium pertama, trofi kemenangan diberikan langsung oleh Wakil Menteri BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.
Dengan hasil tersebut pembalap Spanyol dari Leopard Racing, Jaume Masia, yang hanya finish di posisi keenam, masih kokoh di puncak klasemen pembalap dengan 209. Membuntuti Masia di posisi kedua pembalap Jepang dari tim Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP, Ayumu Sasaki, dengan 193 poin. Menempel ketat di posisi ketiga rider Spanyol dari tim Red Bull KTM Tech3, Daniel Holgado, dengan 192 poin.
Selain menggelar race untuk tiga kategori paling bergengsi tersebut, Indonesian GP 2023 menghadirkan race 2 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC). Pembalap tuan rumah Veda Ega Pratama lagi-lagi berhasil menjadi yang tercepat setelah dalam 2 hari sebelumnya tampil dominan dengan menjuarai race 1 dan unggul pada sesi latihan bebas (free practice) 1 dan 2. Kemenangan ini pun menjadi yang kelima secara beruntun bagi pembalap muda tersebut.
Direktur Utama PT MGPA Nusantara Jaya (MGPA) Priandhi Satria mengatakan pelaksanakan Indonesian GP 2023 pada hari ketiga sangat sukses. Kualitas sirkuit yang baik mampu memacu para riders untuk menunjukkan performa terbaiknya, sekaligus memberikan tontonan kelas dunia kepada para penonton.
“Race hari ketiga menjadi puncak kesuksesan Indonesian GP 2023. Kualitas balapan jelas meningkat dibandingkan dengan tahun lalu dan ini tidak hanya memberikan kepuasan bagi para riders yang beradu cepat di lintasan, tetapi juga kepada penonton setia MotoGP Mandalika, terutama yang hadir langsung ke sirkuit. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan pihak Dorna puas sekali perihal persiapan yang dimulai dari jauh hari sebelumnya, mulai dari pengurusan visa, logistik 500 ton yg dikirim via udara dan laut, inspeksi ketat oleh Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), pujian juga diberikan FIM terkait kualitas marshal lokal yang mumpuni meskipun usia sirkuit baru sekitar 1 tahun,” ujarnya.
Priandhi menambahkan event MotoGP Mandalika juga sukses menghadirkan Hero Walk, di mana para penonton dengan kategori tiket VIP Premiere serta VIP Deluxe dapat bertemu langsung secara lebih dekat dengan para pembalap dari kelas Moto2, Moto3, ataupun MotoGP.
Kemeriahan hari ketiga juga didukung oleh sejumlah penampilan, seperti pertunjukan budaya hingga aksi Jupiter Aerobatic Team (JAT) TNI Angkatan Udara yang beraksi di atas Sirkuit Mandalika. Penampilan JAT tersebut merupakan yang kedua kalinya setelah pada tahun lalu juga memukau para penonton yang datang ke MotoGP Mandalika.
Kesuksesan gelaran Indonesian GP 2023 itu juga dibuktikan dengan tingginya jumlah pengunjung yang mencapai 103.000 kunjungan, melampaui target yang ditetapkan sebanyak 80.000 kunjungan.
Sementara itu, Presiden Direktur Dyandra&Co. Daswar Marpaung mengungkapkan kesuksesan pelaksanaan Indonesian GP 2023 tak lepas dari berbagai keseruan side event yang ada di Sirkuit Mandalika. Menurutnya, sejumlah program pendukung dan tenant yang disajikan turut menunjang antusiasme penonton yang hadir.
“Kehadiran side event menjadi nilai tambah bagi penonton yang datang ke empat zona yang kami sediakan. Sebanyak 103 UMKM turut meriahkan gelaran ini, mulai dari yang menyediakan makanan, minuman, kerajinan hingga pakaian tersebar di berbagai zona side event.” tuturnya.
Empat zona tersebut adalah Merdeka Zone di mana panggung hiburan Pertamina Energizing Stage pada Minggu menampilkan pertunjukan yang diisi oleh sejumlah musisi nasional Tanah Air antara lain Dipha Barus, Amtenar, dan Hydro Koplo. Ada juga Pusaka Zone yang diisi oleh UMKM Lombok tengah dan NTB beserta para tenant lainnya.
Zona berikutnya adalah Bhinneka Zone yang diisi oleh Biker’s Lot, ajang test ride, hingga area makan dan minum (food & beverages) bernama Fuel Up. Zona terakhir adalah Tropika Zone yang diisi oleh official merchandisestore hingga UMKM.
