Itu semua bisa diwujudkan dengan bergabung di organisasi-organisasi yang ada di kampus.

Organisasi kampus merupakan suatu wadah yang beranggotakan mahasiswa yang saling bekerja sama untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Organisasi menjadi tempat mahasiswa untuk bekerja sama dan berkembang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuannya masing-masing.

Society of Renewable Energy (SRE) merupakan organisasi student chapter yang mewadahi ketertarikan mahasiswa dalam bidang energi terbarukan. Visi dari organisasi ini adalah percepatan transisi energi di Indonesia melalui pemberdayaan pemuda yang inklusif serta kolaborasi antar lembaga. Maka dari itu, SRE aktif untuk mengadakan acara seperti webinar, workshop, diskusi kajian, serta company visit untuk menambah pengetahuan mengenai perkembangan EBT baik di Indonesia maupun di dunia. Beberapa kampus yang memiliki organisasi SRE di antaranya ITB, UI, ITS, UNDIP, UGM, dan masih banyak kampus lainnya.

Dewan Energi Mahasiswa (DEM)

Dewan Energi Mahasiswa (DEM) merupakan organisasi mahasiswa eksternal kampus yang didirikan para pemuda untuk memperjuangkan kedaulatan energi nasional. Dewan Energi Mahasiswa Indonesia dideklarasikan pada tanggal 28 Oktober 2019 di Yogyakarta, bertepatan dengan peringatan hari sumpah pemuda. Anggota DEM terdiri dari berbagai latar belakang pendidikan dari jenjang diploma hingga strata 3 yang menjadikan DEM sebagai organisasi yang multidisiplin ilmu. Tujuan dari pendirian DEM ini di antaranya mewujudkan ketahanan dan kemandirian energi Indonesia, memperkuat Indonesia dalam bidang energi untuk pembangunan nasional berkelanjutan, dan DEM Indonesia sebagai masa depan generasi penerus bangsa, serta menegaskan kembali bahwa bumi, air dan kekayaan alam yang terkandung di dalamnya di wilayah Indonesia, dikuasai negara dan betul-betul dimanfaatkan dengan sebesar-besarnya kemakmuran rakyat. Kampus yang tercatat sebagai anggota DEM yaitu UPI, UNDIP, UNNES, UGM, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, dan PTAI Jember.

Indonesia Geothermal Association (INAGA)

Indonesia Geothermal Association (INAGA) atau Asosiasi Panasbumi Indonesia (API) Student Chapter adalah organisasi kemahasiswaan dengan fokus di bidang panasbumi atau geothermal. INAGA atau API sendiri merupakan organisasi profesi non-profit yang mewadahi para profesional, pengembang, dan pelaksana panasbumi dalam perannya untuk mengembangkan energi geothermal. INAGA Student Chapter merupakan bagian dari INAGA yang juga mendapatkan dukungan kerangka kerja dan aktivitas bagi mahasiswa untuk melakukan kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya panas bumi. INAGA Student Chapter berada di beberapa kampus seperti Universitas Brawijaya, UI, ITB, UGM, Universitas Trisakti, UPN Veteran, Universitas Proklamasi 45, dan Swiss German University.

Student Energy sendiri merupakan organisasi non pemerintah yang bergerak di bidang energi, dengan tujuannya untuk membantu percepatan transisi energi menuju ke arah pengelolaan energi yang berkelanjutan. Student Energy memiliki student chapter di UNPAD, yang merupakan student chapter pertama di Asia Tenggara. Student Energy UNPAD terbentuk sejak Februari 2019 dengan visi mendukung transisi menuju energi yang terjangkau, bersih, dan berkelanjutan. Organisasi ini terbuka bagi mahasiswa UNPAD yang memiliki keinginan untuk belajar mengenai isu energi global dan berkomitmen untuk menebarkan dampak positif terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Salah satu programnya adalah pengembangan sepeda listrik yang diberi nama Easy Bike.

UKM Inovasi Energi

UKM Inovasi Energi diresmikan sebagai salah satu Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa di Universitas Pertamina pada 7 Februari 2019. Program studi yang ada di Universitas Pertamina memiliki visi yang selalu dikaitkan dengan energi. Oleh karena itu, UKM Inovasi Energi terbentuk sebagai wadah untuk menyatukan visi dan berkolaborasi antar program studinya dalam mencapai transformasi energi di Indonesia dengan meningkatkan ketertarikan mahasiswa pada isu energi, khususnya inovasi energi.
