Setelah membangun PLTS di Pula Jawa, EMITS mendapatkan pinjaman dari Indika Energi sebesar Rp790,5 miliar dan mengantongi pinjaman sebesar US$ 12 juta dari Responsibility Investment pengelola dana investasi dari Swiss yang fokus dalam pendanaan energi berkelanjutan. Untuk melakukan diversifikasi Indika Nature mengambil alih 46% saham di PT Natura Aromatik Nusantara (Natura), perusahaan penghasil minyak atsiri (essential oil). Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan bisnis berbasis alam dengna tujuan memelihara hidup berkelanjutan.
- Alva
Tidak hanya bertransisi ke sumber energi terbarukan, INDY juga serius untuk menjalani pengurangan emisi melakui kendaraan listrik bernama Alva one yang dikeluarkan oleh PT Indika Energy melalu PT Ilectra Motor Group (IMG). Program Indika Energy dalam Bidang Energi
Pemilihan energi baru terbarukan yang dipilih oleh PT Indika energy adalah Panel Sulya. Hal ini diungkapkan oleh Azis Armand, CEO Group Indika Energy bahwa pembangkit listrik yang menggunakan solar panel kini telah memiliki teknologi yang semakin mature dan dinilai punya peluang bisnis yang masuk akal. Selain pemasangan PLTS, INDY juga gencar melakukan beberapa program pengurangan emisi:
- Ayo Naik Bus
Di lokasi tambang Kideco Kabupaten Paser, Kalimantan Timur, Indika Energy bekerja sama dengan PT Mobil Anak Bangsa (MAB), yaitu startup kendaraan listrik di Indonesia untuk meluncurkan armada bus listrik untuk transportasi karyawan di lokasi operasional.
Tipe bus yang digunakan adalah Bus MAB tipe MD 12E NF dengan jarak tempuh 250 kilometer dengan sekali pengisiandaya. Waktu pengisian ulang berkisar 20 menit hingga 3 jam. Diharapkan dengan memakai bus ini dapat mengurangi emisi sebesar 160 Ton CO2eq per tahun.
2. Kendaraaan Listrik untuk Negeri
Program ini bekerja sama dengan PT Electra Mobilitas Indonesia (EMI) dengan rencana memproduksi kendaraan listrik roda dua. Target jangka panjang yaitu dapat membentuk ekosistem yang merangkul EV mulai dari produksi hingga stasiun pengisian bateria, dan fasilitas pertukaran baterai hingga layanan daur ulang.’

Lokasi tambang batu Kajang di Kideco menggunakan sistem tenaga surya fotovoltaik untuk menggantikan daya listrik yang masih dipasok oleh genset diesel. Sistem ini sudah beroperasi sejaka 2021 dengan pasokan 450.000 kWh/tahun. Menggunakan 3 inverter, dan dapat digunakan baik on grid maupun off grid dengan waktu operasional tujuh jam.
Sistem ini memberikan penghematan penggunaan solar sebesar 39.700 liter per tahun atau setara dengan daya 500 rumah dalam satu tahun atau mengendarai mobil 20 kali keliling khatulistiwa
