Kualifikasi Umum
- Holding at least Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: forestry, natural resource management, or environmental science. However, we also encourage applicants from different field of study if the applicant has experience in the above-mentioned area.
- Able to develop sampling frame and methodologies for forest inventory.
- GIS and mapping skills for conservation planning, image interpretation and land-use analysis.
- Experienced in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) analysis as a consultant or through academic projects or internships.
- Familiar with GIS/RS software i.e. ArcGIS, QGIS, ERDAS and Google Earth Engine.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Persistent, patient, attention to detail, and reliable (you will need this a lot…everyday actually).
- Able to work individual or within a team.
- Have a good communication skill in Bahasa and English adequately.
- Ready to start working by 8th April 2025. We still observe occasional working from home but will have few days of work from office in a week. What makes you a perfect candidate?
- Experienced in voluntary carbon schemes (e.g. Verra VCS, Gold Standard, Plan Vivo, CCB Standard).
- Familiar with HCV-HCS methodologies, forest biometrics, and landscape-level conservation planning.
- Familiar with Python or JavaScript programming language.
- Experience in drone mapping.
- English proficiency: Having TOEFL prediction score >450 or IELTS score >5

Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Acquisition of relevant geospatial and remote sensing datasets.
- Manage remote sensing and spatial data.
- Conduct remote sensing and spatial analysis, including but not limited to land use land cover change analysis.
- Develop sampling frame of forest inventory and perform statistical analysis.
- Prepare and provide base maps to support fieldwork data collection.
- Assist in the development of carbon project design document under domestic and international methodologies.
