Kualifikasi Umum:
- A university degree in science, engineering, or other relevant discipline (e.g. environmental, biology, conservation, forestry, natural resource management, sociology, anthropology, economics, development, sustainability, climate change or other related fields) preferably at a post-graduate level or its equivalent.
- Suitability to undertake the duties and accountabilities mentioned above;
- Knowledge and understanding of IIF S&E Standards, IFC Performance Standards and/or World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) and/or ADB Safeguards Policy Statement (SPS) and/or Equator Principles
- Knowledge and understanding of current discourse on climate change adaptation and mitigation policy development globally and at national level including the carbon trading policy.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in social and environmental impact assessment especially in the area of biodiversity and natural resource management, climate change; environmental management; project planning and implementation;
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant Indonesian laws and regulations;
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, teamwork, communication, and negotiation skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
- Knowledge and understanding of multilateral financing institutions environmental policies.
- Knowledge and skill on GIS, Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT and others) and GHG emission counting method will be an advantage.
Deskripsi Pekerjaan:
- Review environmental assessment reports, environmental management plans, biodiversity and natural resources management, climate change responsiveness and impact, public health action plans, health, and safety plans among others, and recommend enhancements to assure compliance with lIF’s policies and Principles.
- Provide biodiversity and climate-related support to the project lead E&S specialists covering due diligence and supervision of projects.
- Prepare corrective action plans and propose S&E covenants to be included in investment agreements for facility renewal of existing projects.
- Support in the identification of mitigation measures for climate change and biodiversity-specific risks and impacts in alignment with the mitigation hierarchy and develop measures to monitor implementation through plans and programs.
- Monitor and supervise the projects to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable S&E performance requirements and implementation of corrective plans.
- During project monitoring, follow up the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) compliance directly and/or through each Project’s Investment Team, conduct field visits, monitor implementation of SEMS including grievance mechanism and stakeholder engagement, and assist in public consultations and disclosure activities to support the implementation and ensure compliance with lIF’s SEP.
- Update the S&E Monitoring Logbook on monthly basis.
- Prepare progress and performance reports for internal IIF purposes and various lender /shareholders.
- Prepare Implementation Completion Report (ICR) once IIF exit the investment.
- Maintain all records during the post-approval stage.
- Support the lIF ESG Advisory works.
