Penerapan Panel Surya oleh Bayan Resources
PT Bayan Resources membuka booth dalam Festival LIKE 2 dan menampilkan berbagai langkah perusahaan dalam menjaga lingkungan. Perusahaan mereka telah berdedikasi memasang ribuan panel surya di desa-desa yang berada dekat dengan lokasi tambangnya di Kalimantan. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan sumber energi bersih dan terbarukan kepada komunitas yang selama ini bergantung pada sumber energi yang tidak ramah lingkungan. Dikutip melalui laman Detikfinance, Dian Fiana, Manager HSE-CD/CSR Bayan Resources, mengungkapkan, “Kami di Festival LIKE yang kedua ini menampilkan green ekonomi inklusif ya.”
“Ini ada beberapa program yang sebenarnya kita bisa dibilang dia inklusif, inklusifnya kenapa? Karena kita melibatkan masyarakat yang secara kelompok rentan seperti disabilitas untuk berbagai program,” tambahnya. Keberadaan panel surya di 64 desa tidak hanya meringankan ketergantungan pada sumber energi tidak terbarukan saja, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap komunitas lokal. Proyek ini menyediakan solusi energi yang lebih bersih dan dapat diandalkan, mendukung berbagai aktivitas sehari-hari dan pendidikan. Perusahaan juga memasang penerangan solar cell di beberapa wilayah, sebagai bentuk penerangan rumah warga maupun jalanan umum.
Selain itu, mereka juga membangun fasilitas energi bersih seluas 1,2 hektar, terdiri dari 2.628 panel surya individu. Proyek panel surya yang dilaksanakan oleh Bayan Resources di 64 desa sekitar tambang merupakan langkah positif menuju energi bersih dan keberlanjutan. Dengan memberikan akses energi terbarukan kepada masyarakat lokal, Bayan Resources tidak hanya mengurangi dampak lingkungan tetapi juga berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan sosial dan ekonomi. Inisiatif ini mencerminkan komitmen perusahaan terhadap tanggung jawab sosial dan keberlanjutan, serta mendukung upaya pemerintah untuk mempercepat adopsi energi terbarukan di Indonesia.
