Kualifikasi Umum
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of renewable energy projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
Deskripsi Pekerjaan
• Review and correlate renewable energy resource assessment (solar, wind, marine) using satellite and ground data (where available) and support the counterparts at DORD and CPUC, PUC to procure required meteorological measurements for the different representative project components
• Review the performance of renewable energy projects in the FSM as well as pilots under Phase 1 for scale-up under the future investment project
• Model expected output from the proposed solar (and other technology) project components on the selected outer and lagoon islands
• Determine the prioritization criteria for outer and lagoon islands while factoring in the experience from other ongoing projects in the North Pacific as well as the pilots under Phase 1
• Extrapolate the findings from the above work on the selected islands to a larger set of outer and lagoon islands for the roadmap and to a greater depth for the prioritized projects for investments
• Lead consultation workshops with the IA and other representatives and relevant stakeholders to assess power system issues and discuss the proposed projects
• Provide inputs for the development of the energy and water master plan for different typologies of islands
