Saat ini penggunaan motor listrik menjadi trend bagi masyarakat dunia, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Tidak mengherankan jika perusahaan kendaraan listrik tengah membuat desain semenarik mungkin untuk dapat menarik minat konsumen. 

Berbagai jenis motor listrik ini memiliki harga yang tidak jauh berbeda dari motor konvensional. Bahkan, pengguna motor listrik dapat lebih hemat karena tidak perlu membeli bahan bakar untuk isi ulang kendaraan. Hal ini membuat banyak orang tertarik membeli motor ini. Terlebih lagi harga sepeda motor listrik semakin murah sejak pemerintah memberikan subsidi sebesar tujuh juta rupiah kepada sembilan merk yang memenuhi TKDN minimal 40 persen. 

Anak muda yang biasa disebut sebagai millenials dan Gen Z mempunyai selera tinggi terhadap barang, terutama kendaraan. Berbagai perusahaan pembuat kendaraan listrik menawarkan desain yang memukau, dua diantaranya yaitu BF Goodrich dan V7 dan Exotic Sprinter Prime yang memiliki desain hampir mirip yakni menyerupai Vespa. Tentu dua motor ini memiliki kualitas yang berbeda dengan keunggulan dan kelemahannya masing-masing.

BF Goodrich V7 mempunyai desain yang mirip dengan Vespa Primavera, meskipun secara desain mirip namun Goodrich V7 memiliki ukuran yang lebih kecil dibanding dengan Vespa Primavera. Motor ini menggunakan baterai 60v 20ah dengan tipe lead acid. Motor ini menggunakan dinamo berkapasitas 1.000 watt yang terletak di bagian hub atau tromol. 

Selain itu, motor ini juga mampu menempuh jarak 55 km dalam sekali pengecasan full sekitar 6-8 jam. Motor ini mampu melaju dengan kecepatan maksimal 45 km/ jam. Body motor ini menggunakan komponen plastik, sedangkan pencahayaan seperti headlight, stop lamp serta lampu penanda sein sudah dilengkapi dengan teknologi LED. Tidak hanya lampu motor yang canggih, sistem pengereman cakram depan. 

Namun, BF Goodrich V7 belum dilengkapi dengan teknologi fast charging, sehingga memakan waktu yang lama untuk mengisi daya motor ini. Disamping itu, kekurangan motor ini yaitu sedikit lebih mahal jika dibandingkan motor listrik lain yang memenuhi persyaratan TKDN 40%, mengingat motor ini tidak mendapat subsidi dari pemerintah. Motor ini dibanderol harga Rp 14,9 juta. 

Meskipun secara bentuk mirip dengan Goodrich V7 yang sama-sama mirip Vespa, akan tetapi Exotic Sprinter Prime memiliki spesifikasi yang berbeda.  Exotic Sprinter Prime dilengkapi dengan baterai 60v/ 20Ah dengan power 1500 watt. Motor ini mampu melaju dengan kecepatan 65 km / jam dan dengan jarak maksimal 55 km. 

Exotic Sprinter Prime juga memiliki fitur keamanan dan kenyamanan seperti alarm lock motor, pin vehicle, kilas mode dan empat speed mode yang membuat pengguna lebih aman dan nyaman. Motor ini dibanderol harga mulai dari 9,5 juta rupiah. 

Sama seperti Goodrich V7, motor ini tidak termasuk dalam kategori penerima subsidi pemerintah, sehingga harganya tergolong cukup mahal jika dibandingkan motor merk lain seperti Selis Agats ataupun Viar C2 yang semula di harga Rp9.700.000 akan menjadi Rp2.700.000. 

Apakah Desain yang Unik menjadi Faktor Utama untuk Menarik Konsumen?

Meskipun pembelian motor listrik di Indonesia mendapatkan banyak privilege, namun minat terhadap motor listrik dapat dikatakan tergolong rendah. Pada tahun 2022 jumlah motor listrik yang terjual hanya mencapai lima belas ribu unit, angka ini jauh lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan penjualan motor bensin yang mencapai 5,2 unit pada tahun lalu. 

Menurut pengamat otomotif dan pakar kelistrikan, Agus Purwadi menyampaikan bahwasanya minimnya minat terhadap motor listrik disebabkan oleh tampilannya yang monoton dan mirip skuter matic. 

Tidak hanya motif yang monoton, alasan lain sepinya peminat motor listrik ini yakni disebabkan oleh ketahanan baterai motor listrik jika kehabisan di tengah jalan.  Tentu, hadirnya motor listrik dengan bentuk retro ini sedikit banyak dapat mempengaruhi masyarakat untuk membeli. 

Sebagai salah satu perusahaan motor listrik yang mengeluarkan desain mirip Vespa, Dian Swastia Jaya selaku Head of Sales BFGoodrich mengatakan bahwa tujuan utamanya membuat desain mirip Vespa dikarenakan modelnya timeless, artinya selalu trend sepanjang waktu. Selain itu model ini juga dapat dipakai oleh semua jenis usia. 

Tentu saja, jika dibandingkan dengan Vespa Piaggio yang dibanderol harga mulai dari 40 juta rupiah, motor listrik dengan bentuk mirip Vespa bisa menjadi pilihan yang tepat, ditambah lagi dapat menghemat bahan bakar sekaligus berkontribusi untuk mengurangi polusi udara. 

Apa yang Bisa Dilakukan untuk Menarik Minat Masyarakat?

Pemberian subsidi terhadap kendaraan listrik yang tengah dilakukan pemerintah Indonesia merupakan keputusan yang tepat untuk terus meningkatkan awareness di masyarakat.  Menurut ketua Periklindo (Perkumpulan Industri Kendaraan Listrik Indonesia), Moeldoko mengatakan bahwa keraguan untuk membeli kendaraan listrik masih terjadi di masyarakat karena kurangnya edukasi. Banyak masyarakat yang khawatir jika kendaraannya terendam banjir.

Menurut Moeldoko, diperlukan adanya perubahan pola pikir melalui edukasi untuk mengajak masyarakat berpindah dari kendaraan bensin ke kendaraan listrik. Pada saat yang sama Moeldoko juga mengatakan bahwasanya Periklindo mempunyai peran sentral dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat. Moeldoko juga menekankan pentingnya kesiapan infrastruktur kendaraan listrik seperti stasiun pengisian daya. 

Stasiun pengisian daya juga menjadi salah satu isu penting dalam proses elektrifikasi kendaraan. Jika pada umumnya masyarakat pengguna motor konvensional dapat dengan gampang menemukan pom bensin dan tempat eceran untuk mengisi bahan bakar, sehingga tidak perlu khawatir. Oleh karena itu, tempat pengisian daya kendaraan listrik juga perlu dipersiapkan dengan baik dan harus tersebar di banyak tempat.
