• Paid Internship Program for six months
• Candidate: former volunteer of Carbon Policy Lab by CarbonEthics or fresh graduate from Law, Public Policy, International Relations, or similar majors who are keen to develop an understanding of climate change policies and regulations.
• Preferable domicile in Jakarta and can attend offline activities
• The intern should be a responsive and fast learner person
• Able to speak and write in Bahasa Indonesia and English effectively to organize research
• Research experience is a plus.
• Demonstrating enthusiasm and prior knowledge of environmental and climate issues.
• Willing to learn about research in environmental, climate, and energy law/policies.
Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Conduct regulatory and policy research on climate change and carbon in Indonesia to support CarbonEthics’ internal operation and external engagement through policy papers and brief research.
- Assist the team in establishing CarbonEthics’ advocacy plan to enhance Indonesia’s carbon market and industry.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping to enhance CarbonEthics’ external engagement, especially from the public’s side, such as government institutions, including KLHK, KKP, Kemenkomarves, and other potential international organizations, such as World Bank and Asian Development Bank – (civil society, government, NGOs, advisors, etc.).
- Assist regular knowledge publication management by Carbon Policy Lab such as Inclusive Carbon Policy (ICP) Brief, Legal Update, Market Insights, and CPL journal.
- Assist other administrative works to support better governance and operations of Carbon Policy Lab, such as data management, event management, and different policy and legal support for the CPL department.
- Identify opportunities for CarbonEthics to be represented at relevant forums, events, and conferences.
