Kualifikasi
- Minimum Bachelor degree (S1) in climate change, environmental science/management, forestry, natural resource management, economics, and or other relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of technical and management experience in the climate change field, including carbon trade mechanism, REDD+, and carbon footprint.
- Understand international and national policies on climate change.
- Understand climate change related concepts, theories, and practices;
- Demonstrate ability in engaging various stakeholders, include governments, donors, NGOs, private sectors, universities, local communities, and other relevant stakeholders.
Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- The Climate Change Manager report directly to Program Director and will be responsible for the overall management of KEHATI’S climate change programs.
- Responsible for planning, implementing/grant-making process, and monitoring the climate change programs, including carbon trade mechanism, REDD+, and carbon footprint.
- Develop master plan of KEHATI’s climate change programs.
- Develop annual workplan, monitoring the results, and ensure timely reporting.
- Ensure grant-making management runs smoothly, including in preparing project proposals, monitoring, reporting, and improving the capacity of local grantees.
- Prepare regular progress reports (quarterly, semi-annually, and annually), presentations, and other required documents related to KEHATI’S climate change programs.
- Foster partnerships with governments, donors, NGOs, private sectors, universities, local communities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Become a resource person regarding climate change issues, both in internal and external KEHATI.
- Active participation in climate change forums (workshop, seminar, webinar, Focus Group Discussion, etc) both at national and sub-national level.
- Active participation in internal regular meetings and discussions related to project implementation, monitoring, and follow-up.
- Supervise the work of team members or consultants, as may be recruited.
- Collaboration with Program Development Manager and other managers, develop concept notes and project proposal to donors.
- Collaboration with the Environmental Policy Specialist and other managers, develop policy briefs and articles related to climate change issues.
- Any other tasks related to the climate change assigned by the Program Director
