Percayakan Xurya untuk pasang PLTS atap, Bandara City Mall siap menjadi one-stop shopping centre yang ramah lingkungan
Jakarta, 24 Januari 2024 – Xurya, perusahaan energi terbarukan yang menawarkan solusi komprehensif Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) atap di Indonesia, mengumumkan kerja sama dengan Bandara City Mall yang berlokasi di Tangerang. Pada akhir tahun 2023 lalu, Xurya telah menyelesaikan proses konstruksi sehingga PLTS atap yang terpasang di Bandara City Mall sudah mulai dioperasikan.
PLTS atap Bandara City Mall mampu menghasilkan energi bersih sebesar 645 ribu kWh setiap tahunnya atau setara dengan penekanan emisi karbon sebesar 577 ribu kilogram per tahun. Penekanan emisi karbon ini juga setara dengan dampak positif penanaman lebih dari 7.500 pohon.
Ronnie Mustafa, Direktur Utama Provident Development menceritakan, “Sejak 2019, kami sudah tertarik untuk memasang PLTS atap. Kami berpendapat bahwa PLTS atap merupakan sebuah teknologi inovatif yang dapat menjadi solusi dalam menangani masalah krisis iklim. Kami memilih Xurya untuk membantu kami dalam pemasangan serta pengoperasian PLTS atap karena mempertimbangkan Xurya memiliki tim yang berpengalaman serta portofolio yang bervariasi, sehingga kami yakin PLTS atap yang terpasang memiliki performa yang baik dan juga aman. Selain itu, sistem Xurya juga telah termasuk layanan operations & maintenance secara rutin untuk memastikan performa PLTS tetap maksimal. Kami berharap PLTS atap ini dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada sumber energi konvensional dan merupakan salah satu komitmen kami dalam menerapkan prinsip bisnis yang berkelanjutan”
Sebagai informasi, Bandara City Mall merupakan one-stop shopping centre yang berlokasi dekat dengan Bandara Internasional Soekarno–Hatta (CGK). Bandara City Mall memiliki beragam fasilitas lengkap dan menarik.
Eka Himawan, Managing Director Xurya memaparkan, “Kami sangat bangga atas kepercayaan dari Bandara City Mall untuk turut menjadi bagian dalam langkah inovatif mereka menuju perusahaan yang berkelanjutan. Sebagai salah satu klien yang menggunakan program Xurya Lease, kami akan memastikan bahwa PLTS atap yang terpasang di Bandara City Mall mendapatkan perawatan secara rutin agar performa yang dihasilkan dapat maksimal hingga lebih dari 20 tahun ke depan.”
Inisiatif Bandara City Mall ini diharapkan dapat mendorong kesadaran akan pentingnya pemanfaatan energi terbarukan di sektor bangunan komersial. Adanya PLTS atap ini akan memberikan berbagai keuntungan seperti efisiensi energi, pemangkasan biaya operasional, dan kontribusi positif terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan. Selain itu, PLTS atap yang terpasang di Bandara City Mall menjadi bukti bahwa panel surya tidak memberikan efek silau yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas penerbangan.
Hingga saat ini, Xurya telah memiliki lebih dari 100 proyek PLTS Atap yang tersebar di Medan, Palembang, Lampung, Jawa Barat, Banten, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, Bali, Banjarmasin, dan Makassar. Proyek PLTS Atap Xurya diperkirakan mampu memproduksi lebih dari 150 juta kWh energi bersih setiap tahunnya dan berkontribusi mengurangi lebih dari 140 juta kg emisi gas CO2.
