As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, the project actively engages local communities through regular consultations and invests in various thematic areas, including:

The project also conducted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) in line with International Finance Corporation (IFC) guidelines.


CSR Initiative Highlights

Education

  • Distributed essential school supplies at Rampuriya Higher Secondary School, benefiting over 150 students.
  • Provided 30 bicycles for female students, enhancing access and mobility.
  • Built separate toilets for boys and girls at Rampuriya Higher Secondary School, serving 450 students.

Access to Clean Water

  • Constructed a borewell, submersible pump, and water tank at Ambirama Higher Secondary School, providing safe drinking water to 850 students and local residents.
  • Installed 500 meters of water piping and two water tanks to supply clean water to 100 girls at a government hostel in Pratapgarh district, a tribal region of Rajasthan.
  • Installed water purification systems and storage tanks at Devgarh and Salamgarh Police Stations, benefiting staff and the general public.

Environmental Preservation

  • Regular tree plantation campaigns at schools, substations, and public areas to raise environmental awareness.

Healthcare

  • Supported 100 children with cancer annually through the “Adopt a Child (AAC)” program by CanKids Kidscan.
  • Organized pre-cancer testing and counseling camps with Akhil Bhartiya Yuva Manch Delhi and a local cancer organization, benefiting around 350 individuals.
  • Held a medical camp in Rampuriya village, serving 450 beneficiaries with:
    • Treatment and prevention of common illnesses
    • Education on HIV/AIDS, diabetes, tuberculosis, cancer, STIs, and more
    • Personal hygiene promotion to prevent eye, skin, and dental diseases
    • Nutritional education and substance abuse prevention
    • Blood tests (hemoglobin, glucose, etc.)
  • Conducted community awareness campaigns on World AIDS Day and World Cancer Day, focusing on education and advocacy to reduce stigma.

Employment
The project created 88 permanent jobs, including security personnel, supervisors, and engineers—55 of whom are local residents.
