Kopi Kenangan collaborated with Grab and also SUNterra in building the first solar panel outlet. The solar panel is used to power every cup of coffee made from a solar-powered electricity source.

The collaboration between Kopi Kenangan, SUNterra, and Grab is carried out to welcome World Environment Day, which will fall on June 5. In addition, the cooperation between the three companies is also expected as a transition to green energy. This is evidenced by the production process being more environmentally friendly.

Then, Kopi Kenangan will cease operating on April 21, 2022, using 18 solar panel modules. It weighs up to 540 kg and can convert solar energy into the electric current used by the coffee machine. So that every glass served to customers is produced by environmentally friendly renewable energy.

Grab, the leading super application in Southeast Asia, has contributed to the presence of the RC Veterans outlet. And collaborate with Kopi Kenangan and SUNterra on a mission to promote a more environmentally friendly lifestyle for consumers. Through the #LangkahHijau commitment that has been carried out since 2019, Grab has taken various initiatives and concrete actions to support a sustainable lifestyle. This is like reducing CO2 emissions as well as being the largest ride-hailing electric vehicle operator in Indonesia.
